DAY 01: ARRIVE DELHI

On your arrival at Delhi International airport, you shall be met by our officials who will transfer you to the hotel.

DAY 02: IN DELHI

Have breakfast in the hotel. Follow it up with full day sightseeing tour of both Delhi via metro or auto-rickshaw. Have a glimpse of the splendid architecture of Old Delhi built by late emperor Shah Jahan. The city is full of vibrant people and Chaat-Pakori of Chandni Chowk is quite a retreat for travelers. Visit the biggest mosque of India- Jama Masjid, which was Shah Jahan’s place to experience serenity and offer prayers to the Almighty. It took almost six years to complete building the mosque which features three gateways and two towering minarets standing tall at 40m. You shall be taken aback with the fact that around 25,000 worshippers can offer prayers at the same time in this majestic mosque. Not only this, one can even have a panoramic view of the colonial Delhi from the top of southern minaret. The visitors shall be then moved to seeing monuments in New Delhi like Humayun’s Tomb, Lotus Temple and Qutub Minar. After the tour, the travelers shall be allowed to stay back in Old Delhi for some time and later meet with rest of the group and back to Hotel.

DAY 3- DELHI- MANDAWA

Have breakfast in the hotel. Later depart for Mandawa covering a distance of 250 kms in 5 hours. Arrive in Mandawa. Check into hotel. Spend afternoon in relaxation. Later, go on sightseeing tour to Mandawa Castle which lies in the Shekhawati region. It is now a renowned art gallery as it exhibits numerous wall paintings and extensive frescoes paintings. There are other famous havelis like Gulab Rai Ladia Haweli known for exceptional murals and Bansidhar Nevatia Haveli which shows real evidence of Wright Brothers’ maiden flight, will be visited during the tour. Return to the hotel.

DAY 4- MANDAWA- BIKANER- GAJNER

Have breakfast in the hotel. Later depart for Gajner via Bikaner covering a distance of 220 kms in 5 hours. Visit the unassailable fortress of Bikaner- Junagarh fort, which was never been conquered by anyone. It was built by Raja Rai Singh in 1593 A.D who was the distinguished general in the army of Emperor Akhbar. The main entrances of the fort that are Karan Pol and Suraj Pol are distinguished works of architecture. Some of the magnificent palaces that lie in the fort itself like Anup Mahal, Rang Mahal and Ganga Niwas made of red sandstone and marble, are quite well known for their picturesque and intricate artwork. The tourists shall then be taken to Lalgarh Palace, built by Maharaja Ganga Singh in memory of his father in the year 1902. It is an architectural masterpiece made in red sandstone and is a fusion of Rajput, Mughal and European architecture. Go on visiting Ganga Singh museum which showcases some of the finest works of prehistoric Harrapan culture and Gupta period which include paintings, arts and crafts, terracota, pottery and coins and carpets as well. On reaching Gajner, check into the hotel. Later, go on a sightseeing tour to Gajner. Visit the Gajner Palace which was built by the great emperor Maharaja Ganga Singhji of Bikaner. In the barren Thar desert, the palace serves like a jewel. Today, the palace has been turned into a hotel with thick forests all around. The majestic palace owns distinctive terraces and balconies which depicts a different side of the building. There are four popular wings in the palace like Dungar Niwas, Mandir Chowk, Gulab Niwas and Champa Niwas, each known for their architectural beauty. One can go for a nature walk as the palace offers you an opportunity to witness rare and exotic migratory birds during winter like imperial sand goose and animals like antelope, black buck, chinkara, deer etc. Return to the hotel.

DAY 5- GAJNER- JAISALMER

Have breakfast in the hotel. Spend the morning at leisure. Then depart for Jaiselmer. Cover a distance of 300 kms in 6 hours. Arrive in Jaiselmer- ‘The Golden City’. Upon arrival, check into the hotel. Spend the rest of the day at leisure followed by an evening walk in local market of Jaiselmer. Return to the hotel.

DAY 6- IN JAISALMER

Have breakfast in the hotel. Follow it up with full day sightseeing tour to Jaiselmer, Rajasthan’s Golden City. The place is quite renowned for its artistic marvels amidst the hot deserts. Be it intricate carvings on walls or beautifully made jharokhas and balconies of splendid palaces, everything here is worth watching out. The Jaiselmer fort also popularly known as Sonar Quila merges with the golden hues of the desert areas thereby giving a fairy tale look. It is a kind of architectural beauty that can’t be seen anywhere else in the world. Moving on with the tour, you can have a glimpse of Patwon ji ki Haveli which stands tall with five storeys, and is the largest haveli situated in a narrow lane. The extensively carved pillars, corridors and chambers with beautiful mural work give the haveli an alluring look. Jaiselmer is particularly a desert city which invokes a picture in the minds of the travelers about a camel moving around in desert areas. Of course, you will enjoy camel safaris during sightseeing. In fact, Sam Sand dunes which are sandy bush less deserts are perfect to watch out sunrise and sunset and are a must visit during the tour. Return to the hotel.

DAY 7- JAISALMER- JODHPUR- LUNI

Have breakfast in the hotel. Later, depart for Luni via Jodhpur. The total distance covered will be 310 kms in 7 hours. On visting Jodhpur, start with exploring the majestic Mehrangarh fort which lies on a steep hill and is one of the largest forts of India. Made with hard sandstones, the fort displays the works of skilled Jodhpuri sculptures. Since the fort is situated on the hill, it presents a spectacular view of the city’s horizon. The richly adorned windows and walls of Moti Mahal, Phool Mahal and Sheesh Mahal in the fort will take you to an all new world. You will also enjoy seeing the well preserved collection of musical instruments, palanquins, royal costumes, furniture etc. Move towards Jaswant Thada which lies close to the fort complex and is made of white marble. It is the 19th century royal cenotaph which was built by Maharaja Jaswant Singh II and displays the rare portraits of Maharajas of Jodhpur. Continue drive towards Luni. Arrival in Luni. Spend some time in relaxation in the hotel. Then, go sightseeing. Luni is a small and charming village which shows the mirror image of majestic royalty of Rajasthan. The 19th century built ‘Fort Chanwa’ made of red sandstone is the epitome of beauty. There are several courtyards, water wheels as well as facades that reflect the impressive and splendid works of architecture during that period. Return to the hotel.

DAY 8- LUNI- UDAIPUR

Have breakfast in the hotel. Then, go for a short trip to nearby villages to have a glimpse of their daily way of living. Later, depart for Udaipur- the city of Lakes, covering a distance of 250 kms in 6 hours. Arrive in Udaipur. Check into the hotel.

DAY 9- IN UDAIPUR

Have breakfast in the hotel. Follow it up with full day sightseeing. If you wish to experience a cool breeze of air in hot regions of Udaipur, then come over to experience the serenity of delightful Pichola Lake, Fateh Sagar Lake and picturesque Jaisamand Lake. Go on exploring the City Palace that towers over the Pichola Lake. Although the construction was started by Maharana Uday Singh, however, it was the other Maharanas who added several palaces to the complex. The Hati Pol and Bari Pol, the main gates of entrance to this Palace are quite famous. Moving on, you can experience the warmth of royal luxury as you walk along the corridors of Fateh Prakash Palace which display large paintings of the Mewar school. Yet another reason to visit Udaipur is to get accustomed with the beautiful Lake Palace whose image lies in the middle of the lake. The mind blowing and intricate craftsmanship with ethnic themes as well as use of textile and handicrafts all over accentuate the beauty of the palace. Don’t miss visiting Jagdish temple and Saheliyonkibari. Return to the hotel.

DAY 10- UDAIPUR TO DEOGRAH VIA RANAKPUR

Have breakfast at hotel. Later drive towards Deogargh via Ranakpur covering a distance of 140 km in 3 hours. Ranakpur is renowned as being home to holy places. One of the well known holy places is the Chaumukha shrine which is devoted to the first missionary of Jainism- Adinath. One can have a glimpse at the skillfully imprinted 1444 columns and you will be surprised to see that no two columns counterpart each other. Arrival in Deogarh. Spend the afternoon in the hotel. In the evening, you are free to explore the place. Deogargh is a small place which lies amidst the beautiful Aravalis mountain range. One can witness the rocky hills throughout the uneven terrain. One can also have a glimpse of huge citadels and several enthralling lakes that can win over the heart of anyone. The place is also well known for being home to great skilled artisans. Do not miss exploring the majestic Deogarh Mahal and its breathtaking surroundings. The Mahal denotes the very essence of the powerful Mewar rulers and the paintings on the walls describe how they used to rule their subjects. There are small family shrines and a series of narrow passages as well as staircases which displays how the entrance was defended easily during their reign. There is a Central Courtyard which proudly depicts the white marble Deogarh throne. Keep exploring the palace. Later return to the hotel.

DAY 11- DEOGARH- KHAJRELA

Morning breakfast in the hotel. Later leave for Khajrela covering a distance of 180 kms in 4 hours. Arrival in Khajrela. Check into the hotel. Spend some time relaxing at the hotel. Then you shall be taken for getting in touch with the people living here. You will be amazed to see that all houses in this place are made of brick, cement and concrete and the people here do not use any kind of modern technology or similar equipments. There is neither electric energy nor mobile connection. But still, children studying at schools here understand English language clearly. The main source of earnings of the people here is through farming while some work at the local sandstone factory. Moving on the tour, you shall be connected with the amazing beauty of the Khajrela fort which was built in year 1611 A.D. This red sandstone structure with lattice work as well as elaborate jharokas shall give a feast to your eyes. There are facilities of Horse Safari and Jeep Safari available at the fort promising the traveler feel the royal spirit. Return to the hotel.

DAY 12- KHAJRELA- PUSHKAR

Have breakfast in the hotel. Departure to Pushkar via Ajmer covering a distance of 170 kms in 4 hours. Ajmer is a holy pilgrimage center for Muslims with Dargah Sharif being the most visited place by the people following the religion. Continue drive towards Pushkar. Arrive in Pushkar. Check into the Pushkar Palace. The palace is surrounded by Pushkar Lake and was built by the rulers of the state of Rajasthan i.e Maharaja of Jaiselmer about 400 years ago. The palace is quite popularly known as Kishangarh Kunj as Maharaja of Jaiselmer presented it to the Maharaja of Kishangarh. Today, the property is running as a huge hotel serving tourists coming from throughout the world. In fact, it has been termed as ‘Heritage hotel’ as it offers royal comfort zone in a typical Rajasthani style.

DAY 13- PUSHKAR- JAIPUR

In the morning, take breakfast in the hotel. Then, leave for the beautiful city to Jaipur covering a distance of 150 kms in 3 hours. Arrive in Jaipur. Check into the hotel. Spend the day at leisure.

DAY 14- IN JAIPUR

Have breakfast in the hotel. You will then be taken on a tour to Jaipur- the city of royal palaces. The city is quietly known to be the first planned city as one can witness wide streets and beautiful gardens all around which is otherwise not found in other urban cities. The people here are warm and hospitable and welcome visitors like their own family members. The Amber fort, known for its enthralling fortress will be visited during sightseeing. Made with white marble and red sandstone, it is quite a beautiful creation that will stun everyone. When there is mention of Amber fort, no one can forget the mention of Sheesh Mahal which witnesses awe-inspiring mirrored halls. Also on tour list is the Hawa Mahal which is known to be the Palace of Winds. Built with red and pink sandstone, the palace dons a total of 5 storeys and around 935 windows. The main reason behind its construction was to allow women to gaze out at the city without themselves being seen. Since there were a lot of openings, it helped the rulers staying in the palace to get a cool breeze during hot weather. After sightseeing, you shall be treated with traditional Rajasthani lunch and then transfer you to the hotel.

DAY 15- JAIPUR- FATEHPURSIKRI- AGRA

Have breakfast in the hotel. Leave for Agra enroute Fatehpur Sikri covering a total distance of 238 kms in 5 hours. Fatehpur Sikri which took around fifteen years to be constructed during the rule of Akbar possess a series of royal palaces, courts, mosque and private quarters that can make any traveler fall in love with the place. It is the Fatehpur Sikri which is the quite popularly known for speaking volumes about the legends of Akbar and his courtiers i.e. the nine jewels including Birbal. It is also known to be one of the best and most preserved collections of Mughal Architecture in India. Continue drive towards Agra. On reaching Agra, check into the hotel. Then go sightseeing the Taj Mahal- the eternal symbol of love and one of the seven wonders of the world. Taj Mahal was built by Shah Jahan in memory of his beloved wife- Mumtaz. It took nearly twenty two years and 20,000 workers to build the majestic piece of architecture. The evening shall be spent watching the glorifying sunset at Taj Mahal. Return to the hotel.

DAY 16- AGRA- DELHI

Take breakfast in the hotel. Then, take a short tour to well known Agra Fort which is renowned for beautiful palaces, gardens and mosque. You shall fall for the artistic beauty of the Fort. Later visit Itmad-ul-Daulah tomb which was built by late Empress Noor Jahan in memory of her father. Depart for Delhi covering a distance of 204 kms in 5 hours. Arrive in Delhi. Check into the hotel. Spend leisure time in Delhi.

DAY 17- DELHI- ABROAD
