Followed by this, you will be taken to visit St. Mary’s Church which was built in 1680 as the first British Church and is the oldest existing English church in India till date. Morning after breakfast, departure for airport to board the flight to Madurai. On reaching Madurai, you will be moved to a hotel after which you will start for the sightseeing tour. Madurai is a city with great commercial and cultural importance in Tamil Nadu. Being the second largest city of its state, Madurai has a golden place etched for itself in the history as it was the capital of the Pandyasempire. This city has a feast of beautiful sights to offer, first one being the Meenakshi Temple constructed in Dravidian style having many music pillars which despite of being lithic, produce metallic sounds. Attend the sandhyaaarti at Meenakshi Temple. Return to the hotel.

As dawn knocks your door, you will be served with a delightful breakfast after which you will be driven to Periyar (128 kms. in 3 hours). Check in at a hotel on arrival. In the afternoon, go for a boat ride in the picture perfect Periyar Lake to catch the scenes of wild live! Chances to spot animals like Wild boars, elephants, sambars, grey herons etc. In the afternoon, after breakfast at hotel, walk through the jungle with a wildlife expert while looking at a wide variety of flora and fauna present here.

After having breakfast, you will be taken to the shore from where you will go aboard a sail to Kumarakom (115 kms. in 3 hours). Shift to a resort nearby the shore for another ecstatic experience in a row. Kumarakom is a village situated on the shore of Vembanad Lake and truly amazing beauty is the word as we explore this place in the tall mangrove forests, fresh rice fields, giant coconut trees and water bodies ornamented with pretty white lilies.

Morning will be welcomed aesthetically with a leisurely sail to Alleppey gently cutting through the palm-fringed canals. Return back to Kumarakom from where you will be conveyed toCochin via road (85 kms. in 2 hours). Upon your arrival at Cochin, our representatives will be transferring you to a hotel. Renamed as Kochi, Cochin (the commercial capital of Kerala) gives you a perfect view of coastal India with its palm covered lands.
