NORTH TO SOUTH INDIA TOUR

Day 1- Arrive Delhi

On your arrival at Delhi International airport, you will be greeted by our officials who will transfer you to the hotel.

Day 2 –In Delhi

Start your day with an exquisite breakfast in the hotel and let the excitement creep in. Proceed on with the day by taking a full day city tour covering both Old as well as New Delhi. Fascinate your hearts by enjoying a Metro and Auto ride while appreciating the magnificent architecture built by late emperor Shah Jahan in Old Delhi. It’s definitely worth spending at least half a day walking through the chaotic yet colourful streets of Chandni Chowk and visiting India’s biggest and most famous mosque- Jama Masjid. Visit other monuments of the city including Humayun’s Tomb, Lotus Temple (Place of worship for the Bhai Community) and Qutub Minar, which is also considered as a symbol of the City. Spend some time in Old Delhi to join the rest of the group and return to the hotel.

Day 3 – Delhi – Varanasi

After a relishing breakfast, you will be transferred to the airport to board the flight for Varanasi. Upon arrival relax in the hotel and embark on a sightseeing tour in the afternoon. Situated on the banks of river Ganga, this city is considered as the abode of Lord Shiva and various holy Ghats like Asi ghat, Chauki ghat and the Lalita ghat pose as the most popular tourist spots of the city. Being the oldest living city of the world, Varanasi is a home to many sacred temples as well. Before you return to the hotel, visit the sanctum temples like the Sankatmochan temple and the Kashi Vishwanath temple at least once to get your wishes fulfilled.

Day 4- Varanasi- Khajurao

After enjoying the breakfast, you will be departed to the Airport to take the flight to Khajurao. Once in Khajurao, you will be transferred to the Hotel. Later in the afternoon, go for sightseeing and visit the temples and sculptures that were built during the Chandela dynasty. Termed as a Heritage Site by UNESCO, the sculptures in these temples depict the maturity of the civilization and that time along with showing some exemplary craftsmanship. They say a lot about the way of living during the ancient times and also their opinion towards sex as being a healthy option for living and not taboo. Return to the hotel after mesmerizing yourselves in the amicable city.

Day 5- Khajuraho-Jhansi-Agra

After breakfast ones more go for sightseeing and visit the temples and sculptures. In the afternoon depart for the Jhansi Railway station (180 kms. in 4 hours) to board Shatabadi express (1756/2025 hrs) that will leave you at Agra where you will be transferred to a hotel on your arrival.

Day 6- In Agra

A luscious breakfast will be followed by the exploration of Agra city. Later in the afternoon, you will be taken for a sightseeing tour in Agra. Revivify the love with your soul mate by visiting Taj Mahal, the iconic monument which is also considered as a mascot for the country. Spend the evening there by feeling romance in the breeze while witnessing the sun set at a monument which is a symbol of love that Emperor Shahjahan shared for his beloved wife Mumtaj. Then head to the Agra Fort which is famous for its beautiful gardens and architecture followed by a visit to Itmad-ul-Daulah tomb built by Empress Noor Jahan in memory of her father.

Day 7- Agra-Jaipur

Enjoy your breakfast at the hotel followed by a departure to Jaipur by road (250 kms. in 5 hours) visiting the Fatehpur Sikri on the way which is a perfect showcase of Mughal architectural finesse. Continue your drive to Jaipur, the Pink city where on your arrival you will be transferred to a hotel to relish the experience of a comfortable overnight stay there.

Day 8- In Jaipur

Have breakfast at the hotel. You will then be taken on a tour to Jaipur- the city of royal palaces. The city is quietly known to be the first planned city as one can witness wide streets and beautiful gardens all around which is otherwise not found in other urban cities. The people here are warm and hospitable and welcome visitors like their own family members. The Amber fort, known for its enthralling fortress will be visited during sightseeing. Made with white marble and red sandstone, it is quite a beautiful creation that will stun everyone. When there is mention of Amber fort, no one can forget the mention of Sheesh Mahal which witnesses awe-inspiring mirrored halls. Also on tour list is the Hawa Mahal which is known to be the Palace of Winds. Built with red and pink sandstone, the palace dons a total of 5 storeys and around 935 windows. The main reason behind its construction was to allow women to gaze out at the city without themselves being seen. Since there were a lot of openings, it helped the rulers staying in the palace to get a cool breeze during hot weather. After sightseeing, you shall be treated with traditional Rajasthani lunch and then transfer you to the hotel.

Day 9- Jaipur-Udaipur

Early morning depart for Udaipur by train. Arrival in the afternoon and checking in to a hotel hence with the help of our representatives. The regal city Udaipur was the capital of Rajput empire of Mewar and it is distinct from other cities of Rajasthan because of it situated ashore the freshwater lakes Pichola and Fatehsagar.

Day 10- In Udaipur

Kickstart your day with a fulfilling shaahi bhojan of Rajasthan and then move out to explore Udaipur by visiting the splendorous City Palace standing as an evidence of the glory of the Rajputana region and Pichola lake which gracefully stands still with its sparkling water under the sun beautifully embracing ghats, gardens, temples and palaces & mansions like Jag Niwas, Jag Mahal etc.Overnight stay in Udaipur

Day 11- Udaipur-Mumbai

Breakfast will be followed by a timely departure to reach the airport so as to board the flight to Mumbai. Earlier known as Bombay, Mumbai is a sprawling city in the state of Maharashtra which attracts a lot of tourists from national as well as foreign origin. Also referred to being the city of dreams, Mumbai is the wealthiest and most populous city in India.

Day 12- In Mumbai

Another day devoted to jungle safari travelling through a jeep.

Day 13- Mumbai-Goa

Move to the airport after having breakfast at the hotel to fly to Goa. Goa is a perfect reflection of the Portuguese architecture. Once in Goa, you will be taken to the hotel where you enjoy a comfortable overnight stay.

Day 14- In Goa

Today of the tour is devoted to complete sight-seeing in the city of Goa which is extremely famous for its heavenly beaches and which attracts tourists in heavy numbers from India and abroad. Come the holiday season and people are here to party!

Day 15- Goa-Bangalore

Depart for the airport after having your morning meal to board the flight for Bangalore. You will be greeted by our officials who transfer you to a hotel for a relaxing overnight stay.

Day 16- Bangalore-Mysore

A sightseeing tour of Bangalore will follow after a delicious morning meal. You will be taken to see the Lalbagh Botanical Gardens, the Bull temple, and the Vidhan Soudha. Afterwards you will be comfortably conveyed to Mysore by road (140 kms. in 21/2 hours). Check into a hotel with the assistance of our officials. Day 17- Mysore-Ooty

Welcome the morning with a mouth watering breakfast after which set out for excursion in the royal city the royal city of Mysore which is also the city of Palaces, flowers & sandalwood and was once the dwelling place of the great rajas of Mysore. Visit the Mysore Palace and the Chamundi Hills here. Thereafter, start for Ooty by road (170 kms. in 31/2hours) where you are shifted to a hotel on your arrival. Ooty, known as the ‘Queen of Hill Stations’ is truly a paradise to explore as it is tucked in the enchanting Nilgiri hills adorning bubbling brooks, beautiful waterfalls and well manicured tea plantations. Spend your night at the hotel soaking yourself in the tranquil atmosphere in Ooty.

Day 18- In Ooty

Day 19- Ooty-Cochin

Drive to Cochin after your morning meal at the hotel (300 kms in 6 hours). Check in a hotel with the help of our officials as you reach Cochin. Renamed as Kochi, Cochin (the commercial capital of Kerala) gives you a perfect view of coastal India with its palm covered lands. Check in to a hotel on your arrival here and watch the artists speak with their eyes while performing Kathakali, one of the most colourful and prodigal folk dance forms of India.

Day 20- In Cochin

The city tour of Cochin offers you an experience that will remain deeply embedded into a corner of your heart as you are taken to visit the oldest European Church in India: the St. Francis Church, the Mattancherry Palace built by the Portuguese, the Jewish Synagogue and the Chinese fishing nets.

Day 21- Cochin-Chennai

Depart for the airport after breakfast to fly to Chennai. On your arrival at Chennai, you will be moved to a hotel by our officials where you enjoy your overnight stay.

Day 22- In Chennai

On your arrival at Chennai, you will be greeted by our officials who will take you to a hotel. In the afternoon, explore Chennai by visiting the National Art Gallery & Museum, established in the eventful year of 1857, showcasing the most excellent collection of Bronze art pieces in India. Followed by this, you will be taken to visit St. Mary’s Church which was built in 1680 as the first British Church and is the oldest existing English church in India till date. The city’s exploration will conclude with going to the People’s Park, the mesmerising Marina Beach famous as the second longest beach in the world and the clock towers.

Day 23- Departure
