Sri Lanka (formerly Ceylon) is an island nation south of India in the Indian Ocean, and the country offers nice cultural and tropical vacation experiences. The distinct culture and topography is exclusive even whereas possessing similarities to parts of Southern India as well as Kerala. Day 1- Arrive Delhi

On your arrival at Delhi International airport, you will be greeted by our officials who will transfer you to the hotel.

Day 2 – Delhi

Start your day with an exquisite breakfast in the hotel and let the excitement creep in. Proceed on with the day by taking a full day city tour covering both Old as well as New Delhi. Fascinate your hearts by enjoying a Metro and Auto ride while appreciating the magnificent architecture built by late emperor Shah Jahan in Old Delhi. It’s definitely worth spending at least half a day walking through the chaotic yet colourful streets of ChandniChowk and visiting India’s biggest and most famous mosque- Jama Masjid. Visit other monuments of the city including Humayun’s Tomb, Lotus Temple (Place of worship for the Bhai Community) and QutubMinar, which is also considered as a symbol of the City. Spend some time in Old Delhi to join the rest of the group and return to the hotel.

Day 3- Delhi – Agra

After breakfast in the hotel, depart for Agra by road. The total distance will be around 220 km and it will take a total of 4 hours to reach Agra. On arrival, you shall be transferred to the hotel. Later in the day, you shall be taken on a tour to TajMahal built by Shah Jahan in memory of his beloved wife- Mumtaz. The evening shall be spent watching the glorifying sunset at TajMahal. .

Day 4- Agra – Jaipur

Morning after a hearty breakfast, depart to Jaipur by road via visiting beautiful FatehpurSikri. A total of 250 km and a span of 5 hours shall take you to Jaipur. FatehpurSikri was founded in the year 1569 during the reign of Mughal emperor Akbar and the city remained the capital of Mughal Empire from the years 1571 to 1585. FatehpurSikri which took around fifteen years to be constructed during the rule of Akbar possess a series of royal palaces, courts, mosque and private quarters that can make any traveler fall in love with the place. It is the FatehpurSikri which is the quite popularly known for speaking volumes about the legends of Akbar and his courtiers i.e. the nine jewels including Birbal. It is also known to be one of the best and most preserved collections of Mughal Architecture in India. You shall be continuing the drive to Jaipur. On arrival, you shall be transferred to the hotel in Jaipur.

Day 5- In Jaipur

Have breakfast at the hotel. You will then be taken on a tour to Jaipur- the city of Royal Palaces. The city is quietly known to be the first planned city as one can witness wide streets and beautiful gardens all around which is otherwise not found in other urban cities. The people here are warm and hospitable and welcome visitors like their own family members. The Amber fort, known for its enthralling fortress will be visited during sightseeing. Made with white marble and red sandstone, it is quite a beautiful creation that will stun everyone. When there is mention of Amber fort, no one can forget the mention of Sheesh Mahal which witnesses awe-inspiring mirrored halls. Also on tour list is the HawaMahal which is known to be the Palace of Winds. Built with red and pink sandstone, the palace dons a total of 5 storeys and around 935 windows. The main reason behind its construction was to allow women to gaze out at the city without themselves being seen. Since there were a lot of openings, it helped the rulers staying in the palace to get a cool breeze during hot weather. After sightseeing, you shall be treated with traditional Rajasthani lunch and then transfer you to the hotel.

Day 6- Jaipur – Delhi – Colombo

Have breakfast in the hotel. Enjoy a leisure morning and then depart for Delhi via road(265 kms and 5hr) will make you reach to the Delhi International Airport and then let you board the flight for Colombo. After reaching Colombo airport, our officials will take you to the Hotel.

Day 7- Dambulla & Polonnaruwa

After morning breakfast we will head to Polonnaruwa. On the way we will visit to a local market before reaching to one of Sri Lanka’s most impressive cave temples, “The Dambulla Rock Temple”. This spectacular complex of five caves contains over 150 images of Buddha including an inspiring 14 meter statue carved out of the cave rock. After sightseeing this prehistoric site we will continue on to Polonnaruwa. This fascinating 11th century city is home to many interesting ruins and famous monuments including the Royal Palace and the Gal Vihara. Polonnaruwa was once the capital and is also the second most prehistoric city in Sri Lanka. It is now a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Day 8- Sigiriya & Spice Gardens

After a luscious breakfast we will head to the impressive Sigiriya Rock Fortress. Located atop a rock highland overlooking lush jungle flora this granite rock castle is accessed via a steep set of stairs up the side of the rock, and along the way there is a chance to see a imaginary collection of frescos recognized as the Heavenly Maidens of Sigiriya. Climb to the summit and enjoy remarkable views of the jungle below and mountains in the distance.

Day 9- Temple of the Tooth & Tuk Tuks

After morning breakfast we will take you to a sightseeing tour of Kandy – the last capital of the Sri Lankan kings. At first we will visit to the Temple of the Tooth Relic, supposedly home to one of Buddha’s teeth. After spending sometime around the Kandy Lake – built by the last Sinhala king, we will visit the local bazaar and a gem museum and also a Tuk Tuk ride upon surrounding hills. Later on we will visit on a working tea factory at Geragama. Geragama Tea Factory is situated in the heart of the city of Kandy which was established in the year 1903 for manufacturing ‘Low Grown’ and ‘Long Leaf’ tea.

Day 10- Udawalawe National Park Jeep Safari

After the morning breakfast we will head to Embilipitiya town, our base for exploring Udawalawe National Park. This National Park perhaps one of the best places to see the famous Sri Lankan Elephant, the biggest of all the Asian Elephants, elusive leopard, Sloth Bear and different species of deer. Enjoy your day with Jeep Safari before returning to hotel for the night stay.

Day 11- Colombo City Tour

After morning breakfast today we will head to a day tour of Colombo City. Sri Lanka is famous for its gem industry and we will visit to the Gem Mine and Museum at Ratnapura and Colombo is known to be a home to 40 out of the 85 types of gems in the world. After Museum and Gem Mine we will visit the Fort area in the north of the city, famous for its government buildings and interesting shops. Our tour will continue with the places of stunning Gangarama Temple, Galle Face Green a five hectare ocean-side urban park, a popular spot for kite flying and games of cricket. After visiting these places you can enjoy your rest of the after visiting to a local market for shopping.

Day 12- Departure

After morning breakfast we will transfer you to the International airport according to your International onward journey.

We are safely home and that i thanks for making a terrific tour for us. we tend to had a good time and that i especially enjoyed the farm, wherever i used to be able to do plenty of horseback riding and luxuriate in the cool, quiet, solitude of the mountains.
